September is National Recovery Month, and this month, our Give Back Cookie is supporting the work of Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR)
CCAR brings together people in recovery, family members, friends, and allies while providing recovery support, education, and connection. Their work reaches both of the communities we call home. In Willimantic, CCAR operates a Recovery Community Center right on Main Street, and in Manchester, recovery coaches serve people through Manchester Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department and the courthouse.
How You Can Help

3. Attend Recovery Walks on September 26, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., at Bushnell Park in Hartford, CT.
4. Purchase a Give Back Cookie in our Silk City Coffee cafe where $1 of each purchase goes back to their work
LCLP FUND
100% of all proceeds from our Love Coffee Love People branded merchandise go into a fund to help support people in need in our local community. You can purchase either in shop or through our mobile ordering site.

If you are a local non-profit with a valid 501(c)(3) Federal EIN, you are welcome to fill out our application. Please be aware that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Each request will be carefully reviewed, and applicants will be notified of our decision.
